THE
PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAM
This
program is designed for young musicians, 12-17 years of age. These
students are offered:
Advanced Solfege and Music Theory Classes
The "New York Young Musicians' Ensemble"
The Ensemble, founded in 1982 by Mrs. Nicole DiCecco is Suzuki
Programs' Music School for Young Students performing group.
The Ensemble consists of a group of 25 musicians ranging in age
from 11 to 17 years Institute of Development, performing at a high level and striving to
spread friendship through the international language of music.
Members of the ensemble have performed in Asia and Europe and
a number of years ago gave a special concert at the Executive
Mansion in Albany for Mrs. Mario Cuomo. Throughout the years,
the ensemble has performed in the New York metropolitan area,
including in Weill Hall of New York City's renowned Carnegie Hall.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are required for advanced players so they may
continue to improve their skills and progress to become fine musicians
and players. Arrangements are made directly with Suzuki Program
director, Mrs. Nicole DiCecco
The Performing Group
A
group of 18 violinists performing different chamber works written
for 1,2,3 and 4 violins.
