FALL SEMESTER REGISTRATION 2003

Orientation & Registration for New Students will take place on
Monday September 8
, 2003 at 7:15 PM in Room # 112, Science Bldg at Queensborough Community College
This orientation meeting and registration is for parents and adult students only. There are no children allowed.

Mrs. DiCecco will conduct the orientation meeting, and immediately
afterwards, registration will take place.

Registration for both Private Lessons and Group Classes will take
place at the same time SPECIAL ART, so we ask that you please bring two personal checks.

We are very pleased to announce the addition of three new faculty members to
our staff for the fall semester 2003!

Cello (Available on Thur and Sat (afternoon))

Piano (Available on Mon, Sat and Sun (after 2:30PM))

 


Exciting New Offerings for the fall of 2003!

• Private Lessons for Adults
It is never too late to speak the universal language of music!
Individual instruction for adults of all ages is offered utilizing a combination of Suzuki and traditional methods.
Lesson length varies from 30-60 minutes.

•European Concert Tour (Pre-College Program)
For the "New York Young Musicians' Ensemble" as well as the QCC Chamber Orchestra.

•A Special Performance at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall (Pre-College Program)

•Sunday Classes Now Available (Suzuki Program, Pre-College Program, Adult Program)
For those not able to participate on other days.

•Instrumental Sight-reading (Suzuki Program, Pre-College Program)
Training for the NYSSMA test

•Viola Class (Pre-College Program)
For Violin students wanting to acquire the knowledge of a second related instrument

•A Special Concert For Young Gifted Instrumentalists (Suzuki Program)
(Ages 3-8)

•A Cello Master Class Given by Semyon Fridman (Pre-College Program)
For Intermediate and advanced students

•Piano Master Classes (Suzuki Program, Pre-College Program)

•Music Composition Class (Pre-College)
An advanced course in music composition
