Program
Director
Nicole
DiCecco is the founder and director of the Suzuki Program
Music School. Upon graduating from the Paris "Conservatoire"
in France, Mrs. DiCecco received the "Fullbright" scholarship
to continue her studies at the prestigious Juilliard School
of Music, from which she received her Bachelor of Music degree.
With a background of extensive playing in orchestras and chamber
groups, Mrs. DiCecco has specialized for the past 32 years in
the training of many young gifted violinists. Two of her students,
ages 8 and 9, have performed in concerts with The New York Philarmonic;
others have won numerous competitions. Mrs. DiCecco is active
as a guest clinician in Europe and in the United States. She was
a faculty member of the Manhattan School of Music for ten
years. In 1982, she created "The New York Young Musicians'
Ensemble". Under her direction, the ensemble has performed
many concerts in the New York metropolitan area, as well as three
highly acclaimed concert tours of Asia, Italy and France.
Mrs.
Nicole DiCecco supervises the entire faculty. All instructors
are graduates of music conservatories and are fully trained and
certified in the Suzuki method of instruction los productos. Experienced instructors
trained in the disciplines of basic Musicianship and Music Theory,
as well as experienced piano accompanists, complete the staff.
